HOW THE QUESTIONS ARE WRITTEN
Every question is written from the primary standard it tests — the code, the recommended practice, the syllabus — never copied from it and never scraped from another provider. Each one names the clause it comes from, so you can check it against the source yourself.
The bank is under continuing expert review, and anything you report is examined.
Judge the content yourself
Three questions straight from the bank — answer them.
Which alloying element is recognized as having the greatest effect on the mechanical properties and hydrogen cracking susceptibility of the HAZ?
A silver silver chloride cell reads minus 0.780 V on an immersed structure. What is the equivalent value referred to a copper sulfate cell, using an offset of minus 0.050 V?
An in-house function costs 640,000 a year. A provider quotes 505,000, and managing the contract will cost 60,000 a year. What annual saving results?
Every question in the bank carries the same structure: five options, the key, the rationale and the clause it comes from. Ten free for every certification, no account →
Three ways to work, one bank
Study mode
Answer, see the key immediately, read the rationale and the clause it comes from. This is where you learn the material.
Timed practice
Pick a length, get one clock and no feedback until you submit. Move freely, flag questions, change answers. Grading happens at the end.
Full mock exam
For API 510, 570 and 653, the real day's two-section shape: 100 closed-book questions in 2 h 45 m, a break, then 50 open-book questions in the second section. The sitting itself is longer - 170 questions, 110 closed and 60 open - so a paper here is shorter than the real one rather than a copy of it. Ten fixed papers each in the full pack; a smaller pack carries fewer papers, always whole ones and never part of one. Every other certification has fixed full-length papers in its own exam's format.
The open-book section, properly built
API 510, 570 and 653 are the certifications examined open book, and in every one of those papers questions 48 to 50 are answered from a WPS/PQR exhibit — thirty of them, written for this platform, with deliberate defects laid into the records. You read the procedure and the qualification side by side and decide whether the paperwork holds.
That is the part of those exams most preparation skips, and it is the part that separates an inspector who can read a qualification record from one who cannot.
AssetronX does not reproduce API or ASME code text. The real exam supplies the codes on screen, page by page, with no text search; work with your own copy and expect to navigate without searching on the day.
EXHIBIT WPS-PQR-01
Supports questions 48, 49 and 50 of Set 01
Original AssetronX teaching exhibit. All organisations, personnel and data are fictitious and deliberately generic — not a facsimile of any code form.
